How to Celebrate Shavuot? The blessing over the candles is as follows:
Blessed are you, God, Our God, Sovereign of the Universe, who has made us holy with commandments and has commanded us to light candles for the holiday. The she-he-chi-ya-nu blessing, which is commonly said to celebrate reaching life’s milestones, is said at candle lighting and after the holiday wine blessing has been recited:
Blessed you are, God, Our God, Sovereign of the Universe who has let us live and sustained us and has brought us to this time. And,
